For those who may have missed it in 2005, or just want to hear it again and get into the holiday mood, I just found this little gem tucked away in a remote corner of one of my hard drives: Sean reading a Christmas story, broadcast by the BBC in 2005 around this time. I cut all the music, news, etc out of the 2 hour long broadcast and brought the length down to just over 15 minutes. Some of the cuts are a little rough, but I'm afraid I don't have the original files any more ...or the time to re-cut it, for that matter ;).
Download / Listen (15:41 - 7.2 MB)
Credit for downloading the original 2 hour version goes to mrsbean (original post here). It's not often that I'm away from an internet connection long enough to miss out on BBC radio (i.e. more than 6 days), but I got snowed in... Great to have a community to fall back on!
PS: I edited this recording with Audacity, which is a marvellous bit of open source software. Also available in portable edition.
