TV reminder

Ladies,

Remember to watch your entertainment news shows (i.e. E! News Live, Access Hollywood, Entertainment Tonight, etc...etc...) because they'll have the National Treasure premiere....

Here's what Entertainment Tonight said on their website...(mostly about Nicolas Cage)

Nic's 'National' Premiere!

November 9, 2004
Oscar® winner NICOLAS CAGE goes from con/family man in 'Matchstick Men' to fortune seeker as he returns to the action genre this month with 'National Treasure,' the new film from blockbuster producer JERRY BRUCKHEIMER, in theaters Nov. 19. Tonight on ET, our KEVIN FRAZIER hits the red carpet for the star-studded premiere!

Recently, Nic told us what it was like behind the scenes of his new adventure -- and what his new bride, 20-year-old ALICE KIM -- who he married in a super-secret summer wedding -- thinks of his new action flick! "She loved it," the newlywed said.

This past July, Nic wed Kim, a former waitress at a sushi restaurant, in a hush-hush ceremony at a private Northern California ranch. It's the third marriage for Nic, who wed actress PATRICIA ARQUETTE in April of 1995 (and divorced in August 2001) and then LISA MARIE PRESLEY in August 2002. That union lasted three months before they announced their split.

"I try to protect it as much as I can," he says about his personal life. "At the same time, I try to be honest, but other people are involved. So it's not fair to go on a soapbox and talk about their personal lives when they're not here to defend themselves."

Nic says having a former classmate in the director's chair was a unique experience. "I was blessed with JON TURTELTAUB, who I went to high school with," he says. "He had a vision. He wanted us to keep it light and put a lot of humor in it. He saw it as an old throwback like those old pictures CARY GRANT and JIMMY STEWART used to do. Caper movies where it seemed like they were very playful."

Although the fun flick has been compared to HARRISON FORD's 'Indiana Jones,' Nic says 'Treasure' is a movie all its own. "I understand the 'Indiana Jones' comparison because of the adventure and the artifacts and archaeology," he says "But there's nothing supernatural going on in this movie. There is some element of fact. There are very intelligent people who believe this treasure exists."

In 'National Treasure,' Nic plays brilliant treasure hunter Benjamin Franklin Gates. For three generations, Gates' family has been searching for the greatest treasure the world has ever known, hidden by our Founding Fathers. Sifting through clues amazingly left before our very eyes in places such as the nation's capitol and on every dollar bill, Gates' search leads him to the Declaration of Independence -- which contains a map hidden on the back!

But in order to protect the world's greatest treasure, Gates must now do the unthinkable: steal the best-guarded document in American history before it falls into the wrong hands. Now, with the help of Dr. Abigail Chase ('Troy' beauty DIANE KRUGER), he must stay one step ahead of his ruthless adversary (SEAN BEAN), elude the FBI -- and unlock the 2000 year-old mystery behind our greatest national treasure.
