This is the stuff that drive me nuts. I haven't been reading many NT reviews, but this one caught me eye.
In it, Mr. Stephen Ellsworth gives Sean a glowing review, but states:
Englishman Sean Bean, last seen as an IRA nutcase in “Patriot Games” (1992), has never been better as a villain. He’s frightfully tough and meaner than a snake, but there’s irony and self-knowledge in his portrayal that made him a pleasure to watch.
1992???? Here for your enjoyment, is my email reponse:

Stephen? Where have you been for the last 12 years? A quick peek at Mr. Bean's IMDB, and you will see he's done an incredible volume of work since "Patriot Games", including a little flick, known as "Lord of the Rings." "Troy" and "Don't Say a Word" are two more, if you're just looking for American Films.
I'm very happy to see that you liked his performance, but like so many in the United States, you've missed some incredible performances, by a truly great actor.
If nothing else, please, see "Extremely Dangerous." Get a good look at what this man can really do. "National Treasure" didn't even come close.
Edit: I've since received a reply from the Managing Editor of the newpaper, and they want to run my email as a Commentary. *dances*
