Silent Hill Dominates Weekend Box Office
Pyramid Heads and Sean Bean for the win.

Despite rather negative reviews from movie critics, Silent Hill managed to beat out Scary Movie 4, and weekend openers The Sentinel and American Dreamz with an estimated $20.2 million on 2,926 screens ($6,903 per screen average).
The film had a $50M budget, and has already done better than the last three Uwe Boll movies combined domestic box office totals ($17.8 million), and boasts a better opening weekend than the Doom movie, which opened to the tune of $15.4 million. Congratulations, Silent Hill.
